Owing to kitchen refurbishment, we are having to close for food from Monday 21st Feb. to Friday 25th Feb. We will
be opening in the evenings for drinks only. We are hoping to be fully operational again on Saturday 26th Feb.
Please watch this site for an update. Sunday 20th Feb. staff worked wonders clearing the kitchen after service on Sunday,
men moved in at 4.00pm to remove all equipment.
surpirise, surprise, Monday 8.00am whole work force turned
up, so far no tea breaks, but early days yet, but it is promising. Got to be up early on Tuesday. workers want to get
in at 6.00am, but cannot do them breakfast until they finish my kitchen. Thursday morning all is looking good, painters are
in. new floor has been laid, just waiting for the plumber to connect gas, it looks at if we might make it for Saturday, will
keep you informed. After a very hard and long day for everyone, I am pleased to say WE CAN OPEN TOMORROW , SATURDAY
26TH AS NORMAL, HOPE TO SEE YOU. SONIA
