We have been a family run business for the last 31 years, the first 4 years it was run by my parents Gwen & Reg and the following
years by myself Sonia and my Husband Mick. Later on we were joined by our daughter Katie & her husband and dedicated Liverpool
supporter Richie.
The Waterside is an Everards pub who are a Leicester based family brewery of more than 150 years. Everards' success is built
on providing first class quality goods and services to their customers which we have aimed to emulate over the years.
We are situated just north of Leicester just off the A6 and right next to the River Soar by Mountsorrel Lock. Our location
makes us a must for all fine weather eaters and drinkers with our riverside garden and lock side tables.
We have a small but cosy bar area, two lounge areas and a large no smoking area. Food is available throughout the pub and
on finer days or for those of you with thicker skin food is available in all our outside seating areas.
